On July 26, I am going to Padres vs Arizona D-backs.

Before, I went to Padres vs Cincinnati Reds and SD got clobbered 12-2. I left after ^8 because they couldn't win. I have also been to a Yankees vs Athletics game. NYY won 5-0. I am also going to 2 other games, Padres vs LA Dodgers, and another Padres vs Arizona D-backs. I have seen 2 tennis games, S. Williams vs. M. Mindella, and Nadal vs. Istomin. I have SEEN, not necessarily went in, Citi Field, Petco Park, Yankee Stadium, and Arthur Ashe Stadium. SD lost hte Dback game 6-1. J Guzman HR in ninth, Joe SAUNDERS A COMPLETE GAME. ODog gave up a run. I went to a game Aug 21, SD 4 FLA MARLINS 3. Venable hit walkoff RBI single/leadoff homer. Blankes two run double. SD CHC I saw too. Sd lost 6-2. nothing to say

At school, I have spring break for a week. In that time, I went/am in India. Are you thinking"No fair, He gets to be in glorious India"? Well you're wrong, there is so much litter, and VERY bad movies. I saw patti and thata there too(a good thing, finally). I miss/missed home but I like/liked my stay. I went/came with my dad. We went on a tour and saw in Jaipur: Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, City Palace, Janter Manter, in Fatehpur Sikri: Akbar's fort, Agra Fort, and Taj Mahal. We took lunch break and stayed in a hotel(it was 2 days and 1 night). I enjoy India but I like US too. I am half happy and half sad. Which should I choose?

Ashwin is a very naughty baby. He plays with pots and pans, not his toys. he throws his Cheerios on the ground and then eats them on the ground. he pulls people's hair scratches people's necks, and pulls of his socks and throws them in the bath tub. We call him ''Crazy Baby'':-] Ashwin loves to eat of the ground. that is disgusting. Whenever he is caught in the ''crime scene'' of eating things from the floor, he races away!!! He's funny.

Pros, projectile , 6 cannons, 2 cannons at the front, movable head, capsules, 2 cannons on the wing, crystal extracter, cute little miner, turning cannons. Cons, none. Questions, why 2 aliens? The ETX Alien Strike has only 1 alien and it is much bigger! Great.

O.K, let's just say I got it for ............violin practice for the entire March! Pros, Planetary drill, gets that miney effect, lots of gears, I only know how the drill spins, that little cabin thingamadoodle that you take that part of the roof out to reveal, ladder, engine fire, map, 3 mini figs and 2 crystals, box of dynamite. Cons, none, just the extra guy but, I got a use for him, I put him on the the left side of the truck, Great

Pros, transformation, green fire, revealing crystal, capsule, missles, wheels/engines. Cons, bottom cannons are shooting on box when the top cannons really shoot. Great.

Playathon '09

Playathon is a fundraiser cum practice marathon in my violin school. For the playathon I have to practice everyday for 30 days! So, I am going to blog everyday to track my practice! This time I am very motivated to practice so hard and play really good violin!!

Day 1 (4/18): They distributed the sheet for Playathon in Group Class today and I marked my home calendar that it is the "First day of Playathon". In the evening, my Mom and I played a game of "hotter hotter cooler cooler" with the violin. I hid an object (my rocket) and she had to find it. I would give her clues by playing louder if she got closer and softer if she went in the wrong direction. I did not realize 35 mts went by! At night, Mom and I cuddled up and listened to the CD while singing and clapping and tapping along.
Net Score for the day: Violin: 35 mts. AL: 20mts

Day 2 (4/19): Busy day ahead!! It is Sunday and there is Bala Vihar to go too and playdate with Akash in the evening. But, since I got ready early, I had 35 mts to spare. I played 26mts before we left and did Active listening in the car on the iriver as my Dad drove me to BV. I might do more later. Lets see!!
Well, that was it!

Day 3: (4/20): Back to school on Monday! In the evening after school, we played Snakes and Ladders game with dice and played the Suzuki song corresponding to the total of the numbers on the board.

Day 4: (4/21): Did AL on my way to school and back. After dinner today, played with the CD. Gosh the CD is fast! PM was so fast! I repeated PM till I could keep up with the CD! It sounded pretty neat!

Day 5: (4/22): Mom and I played Bingo. Each shape in the bingo sheet meant a different song. Didnt realize 40mts went by. At the end, I got 2 little gifts when my bingo sheet was all crossed out.

Here are some tactics that most people know: Fried Liver, Fool's Mate, forks, pins and skewers, Scholar's Mate (also known as the Four Move Checkmate), Smothered Mate, Two Rook or a "One Queen One Rook" Checkmate (the Queen takes the Rook's power) and King and Queen Checkmate.There are more tactics such as windmills, dicoveries, sacrifices, Fox in the chicken coup, The Deep Freeze, Lucena's position, Saavedra position, Philidors defense in the opening and endgame,etc. Chess is a fun sport and is not there to make people cry when they lose, but to have fun and be a good sport. Remember that.

Crystal Reaper

The Crystal Reaper is my favorite Lego Mars Mission toy. But the Crystal Reaper is not the only thing in the set, there is a dump truck (bottom left) and an alien jet (not shown). Pros, truck, jet, projectile, dumping bucket, 2 crystals in the back, treads that activate blades, claws, 1 commander alien, 2 regular aliens, 2 astronauts, alien test lab, hand-hold lasers,and stand mode and 3 lasers on alien ship. I might recommend it.

Zenex's Easter stone hunt

It was Easter time in Africa. Zenex , the zebra who lived in Africa was getting ready for the Easter stone hunt. They were on teams. Zenex was on the Blue team. While Zenex waited, he read a book on ferns. It was a long time to wait between the morning and the stone hunt. He began to feel bored. At last the bell for the hunt rang and Zenex galloped to his team. "Go" said the judge. Zenex 's team started to pick up a lot of stones. The team that got the most stones would win. The Blue team picked up all of the stones remaining and they were no more stones left.Then the bell rang and the teams counted thier stones and told the judge how many stones they had. The judge declared Zenex's team the winner! Each Blue team member got a wreath as a prize. Zenex thought that day was the best one in his life.

The Eagle Command Base is a very good pretend fighting command base made of Legos. The rocket is cool because it has a cargo area. The fighting equipment are missiles, lasers and a rocket. Everything is powered by a pump. It even has a satellite powered by a crystal. And it has an alien test lab. It has 4 missiles.
